Fleet firm is up for national award

Chevin Fleet Solutions, a software firm which supplies vehicle fleet and asset management software has been shortlisted for a national award.

Chevin Fleet Solutions, in Belper, is a finalist in the Fleet News Award.

The company will battle it out with AA Business Services, Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions, Auto Windscreens, GMF Support and Autowide for the title of Fleet Supplier of the Year.

Chevin was founded in 1990 and now has bases in the UK, Ireland, North America and Australia.

Chevin Managing Director and Founder Ashley Sowerby said: "Recent tough trading conditions have hit the automotive industry hard, which makes the acknowledgement more important."

The awards ceremony is at London's Grosvenor Hotel on Wednesday, March 17.
